Outback NSW Freedom Tour (9 days)

Join Great Divide Tours on our special Freedom Outback NSW tour. As soon as our current travel restrictions are lifted we have planned a special Outback NSW camping trip to celebrate our freedom from Covid 19. We don’t know exactly when this will be, but register your interest in joining us and we will email the itinerary to you and contact you once we can confirm dates for the trip.

In short, we intend to do 9 day Tagalong from Saturday to the following Sunday and will drive up to Lightning Ridge and spend a full day exploring this delightful town and the surrounding area where there are no less than three lost pubs. Then we will travel to the beautiful Trilby station via Bourke and the Darling River. Again a two night stop allowing us time to explore Trilby and learn about sheep farming in the harsh outback from Liz Murray, the camp is a cracker too, overlooking the muddy waters of the Darling. Then we follow the Darling to Tilpa and Wilcannia and all the way to Menindee for another two night say. We will camp beside Lake Pamamaroo so we can watch sunset over the water. On our second day here we will explore Kinchega National Park and view Menindee Lake which now has water in it. From Menindee we start driving back east along the railway line to Ivanhoe and into Willandra station for our night’s camp. Then we travel via Lake Cargelligo to Parkes, and hopefully have time to visit the radio telescope. The final day we will bring you back to Sydney with a hot lap around the famous Mt Panorama race circuit at Bathurst (in our slow 4wdrives).

I already have enough interest to lead two of these trips, so register your interest now and as soon as we get the green light to travel I’ll be in touch with a date that will work for you. This trip is off road trailer friendly also.

Entry to all National Parks, entry & track fees on Trilby Station and all camping fees.
