Down the Darling River Tour - Fully Accommodated (9 days/10 nights)

Our accommodated tours to Birdsville and through the High Country have proved very popular so I’ve been looking at other locations that we can offer these unique tours. The Darling River Run and the Corner Country are favourite locations and within easy reach of the majority of us so I’ve come up with an accommodated trip Down the Darling.
Starting in the intriguing town of Lightning Ridge we will explore the headwaters of the Darling in the Culgoa Flood Plain. After motel accommodation in Bourke our next evening will be on the banks of the Darling in shearers quarters on beautiful Trilby Station. On the way to Trilby we will drive through Gundabooka National Park. Next stop is underground at White Cliffs after following the Darling to Tilpa and then diverting through the Paroo Overflow. From White Cliffs we will explore Mutawintji National Park before stopping for two nights in Broken Hill. This allows us a full day to explore Silverton and then drive the 4wd tracks on Eldee Station. Next we move to Menindee and have all day to visit Kinchega National Park and Menindee Lakes, a fascinating area. Continuing along the Darling past Bindara Station and Pooncarrie we reach Wentworth to view the confluence of the Darling and the mighty Murray. Tonight we stop in Mildura. Next we have a full day to drive through Mungo National Park and see the amazing Walls of China and much more. We have a second night in Mildura and real treat for you tonight with a dinner cruise on a paddle steamer! Our final day and we venture into the real outback of NSW via Ivanhoe and then through the middle of Willandra National Park with our last evening together in Hillston.
This trip is fully accommodated and includes dinner and breakfast each day.
