Down the Darling River VW 4Motion Tour (9 days)

Great Divide Tours has worked with Alex from 4Motion Adventures to develop this amazing guided 4Motion Tour along the beautiful Darling River.

The tour will be led by Alex and Olga owners of their very own Trakkadu and familiar with many of you from their fabulous YouTube films and the driver training courses Alex has led with Great Divide Tours. This tour is specifically designed for the Volkswagen 4 Motion Multivan style vehicles with camper conversions. If you own a regular style 4WD and would like to do this trip, please contact us as it is very likely we will offer this trip to all owners of 4WD's at another date in 2022. Email info@4wd.net.au

This tour will take you down the Darling River Run from the exciting opal mining town of Lightning Ridge to Broken Hill, then to Menindee Lakes and onto Mungo National Park. The full itinerary is available by emailing info@4wd.net.au .

This will be a very exciting time to travel the outback and especially the Darling River Run because, as we all know, there has been an incredible amount of rain over all areas during Summer and the Darling itself has been running a banker for quite a few months. The Menindee Lake system is brimming with water, a scene not often seen and much of our red outback has been replaced by a sea of green and beautiful wildflowers. Some are saying the outback is the best it has ever been, so don’t miss this opportunity.
