Touring Tassie - Fully Accommodated (21 days)
After many requests to conduct 4WD tag-along trips to Tasmania, Great Divide Tours is now able to offer an incredible 21 day tour around the beautiful island state. The recent reccie of the trip was absolutely incredible, every turn in the road presented a new & amazing vista. Tasmania is so unlike other states in our great country. For a start it is green, a vibrant almost iridescent green. It has some very rugged mountains & an incredibly beautiful coast. Add the wild seas that crash into the west coast, combine this with the calm & placid seas along the east coast, and you have what could be termed the perfect package. But wait, then there is great food, the aroma of the beautiful wood carvings, one of the best underground caves I have ever seen, and of course all the history from the convict days to the mining & the recent struggles as a result of the huge hydro schemes that dot this rugged landscape.
This is a mix of all the best tourist attractions to see in Tassie plus a taste of the off road tracks apart from those that will damage your 4WD. We are touring not trashing! We will get you to places you are not likely to venture to on your own. If there is a back road that we can follow, then we will follow it.
Acommodation is provided each night on this trip due to the severe weather conditions that can occur at any time in Tasmania, no camping is required.
